summit overview

MESSAGE FROM OUR EVENT DIRECTOR

It was a pleasure to welcome all participants to Africa Trade and Customs Week Summit 2022 with representation of 46 nations across Africa, Americas, Europe & the Middle East . It was a very special opportunity to have so many esteemed leaders from government and business from so many countries.

The first edition of Africa Trade and Customs Week Summit proved to be a major international summit committed to increasing knowledge, capabilities and dialogue between government and private sector trade leaders.

The summit presented an interactive platform for government, business, academic, donor organization, customs authorities and industry thought leaders to collaborate, discuss and share best practice. Africa Trade and Customs Week Summit’s ambitious programme creates bilateral, regional, and multilateral dialogue
between governments and the private sector.

Delegates take on the challenge of returning to their own countries and companies with a set of actions that will contribute to the growth of international trade across all borders. We hope that our international attendees had the opportunity to explore South Africa and get the opportunity to savour our multicultural society and phenomenal tourist attractions.

Regards
Dale Magaya
